The 12th Raine Study Annual Scientific Meeting will be held at the UniClub on Friday 1st November 2019.
The Raine Study Annual Scientific Meeting is free to attend and is open to any researchers, participants or people interested in hearing more about current research and research opportunities within the study.
This year the Raine Study celebrates 30 years since it all began and our Annual Scientific Meeting will be the first of a series of events which have been planned to acknowledge and celebrate this important milestone in the history of the study. A highlight of the 12th Annual Scientific Meeting is the inclusion of keynote speaker Professor Melissa Wake, a paediatrician, community child health researcher, and Scientific Director of the Generation Victoria (GenV) initiative. Melissa will share with us from her years of experience in research and longitudinal studies, as well as her success in research translation.
Early-career Raine Study researchers are invited to submit an abstract to present their research findings at the Raine Study’s 12th Annual Scientific Meeting on Friday 1st November 2019.
The Raine Medical Research Foundation have kindly donated two prizes of $750 each for the best presentations by early career researchers and students.
Early career researchers and PhD students are encouraged to present on behalf of their Special Interest Groups.
Time allowed for the presentation will be 8 minutes for the oral presentation followed by 2 minutes of questions from the floor.
