We’re thrilled to announce the two winners of the prize for best Early Career Researcher presentation at the #rainestudyasm2020 today, our annual event celebrating the breadth and depth of data collected from more than 30 years of life-changing pregnancy and birth cohort research. Dr Samantha Lee from Lions Eye Institute and Dr Chau Jillian Thien Tay from Monash University scored highest out of 16 presentations, with their presentations on ocular epidemiology and polycystic ovary syndrome respectively. They each took home a prize of $750 in support of their ongoing research, presented by Dr Amanda Cleaver, Director of our funding partner the Raine Medical Research Foundation – this was in fact Samantha’s second time as a recipient of this award having won it in 2018 as well.
