The Raine Study requires that at least one of the student’s supervisors is a Raine Study researcher.
Raine Study PhD Top-up Scholarships
The Raine Study offers PhD top-up scholarship funding to students utilising the Raine Study and undertaking a Doctorate of Philosophy at a Western Australian university.
These scholarships are awarded through a competitive application process to promising candidates who can demonstrate that their research will be of benefit to the community and to other investigators utilising the Raine Study, has intellectual merit, and a high likelihood of successful completion.
This scholarship is valued at $10,000 per annum with an additional $2,500 per annum travel allowance.
It is available to students who have completed (at least) the first year of their candidature. The top-up scholarship can be held for a maximum of two years with a possible six-month extension in line with an extension of the primary award.
Scholarships are advertised in August-November for commencement the following year.
