The Raine Study Founding Investigator Professor John Newnham recently won the prestigious AMA Hippocrates Award and was nominated for 2019 Western Australian of the Year. The Australian Medical Association has recognised Professor Newnham for his long-lasting and outstanding contribution to health and medicine in Western Australia. Along side this award Professor Newnham was one of the five finalists in the 2019 Western Australian of the Year Awards.
